OnShift - Reset Password/Unlock Account
Who can reset passwords and unlock OnShift Accounts?
Schedulers - To the locations they have access to
Managers - Those who manage schedules and to the locations they have access to
IT Helpdesk - IT Software Admins for OnShift
Process to Reset Password:
1. Login into OnShift as a scheduler, manager normally would
2. Find the employee in the Worker Tab>Active Users

3. Open the user profile by clicking on the name on the worker column
4. Go to the Account Tab of the user profile, click Unlock User Button

5. A window will appear asking for you to re-enter your Onshift Login Password again. Then click Re-Authenticate (This is not the user's password or setting the new password)

6. Another window will appear to enter a new temporary password for the user/worker. Make up a password that meets the requirements shown and enter it in both password fields and click Unlock User.

7. If the new temporary password met the requirements, you will get a window that confirms the password has been set. The password you created is now the temporary password the user needs to use to login and setup a new password.

8. Password Reset Complete
Note: Make sure the user is using the username listed in the Account tab of their worker profile. This will be the email address the user used to setup their Onshift Account. The Account tab always has the true username of the account.
